On Wednesday, 6 May, petrol prices rose by R3.27 per litre, and diesel by R6.19 per litre. High international oil prices are driving the hike due to geopolitical tensions and a weak Rand. Despite the R3 per litre general fuel levy relief, consumers are still facing record prices.
