Please note that the Department of Agriculture has lifted the trade restrictions on the importation of live poultry, meat, and other poultry products from Chile into South Africa, with immediate effect.
Please note the following:
• Please note that only poultry meat with a production date of 24 June 2026 and onwards will be allowed
• Veterinary Import Permits and Veterinary Health Certificates must be obtained prior to exportation of the product
