DALRRD published a notice on Friday, 4 July 2025, lifting trade restrictions on poultry products from Brazil.
The following cut-off dates will be applied:
Consignments containing products packed in their final packaging* between 01 May 2025 and 18 June 2025 from Brazil will be rejected and returned to Brazil or destroyed at the cost of the importer.
Consignments accompanied by veterinary health certificates with an official signature dated between 15 May 2025 and 4 July 2025 will be rejected and returned to Brazil or destroyed at the cost of the importer.
Importers are required to submit new applications for veterinary import permits (VIPs) from 4 July 2025.Updated/New VIPs will be issued that are aligned with the lifting of the ban.
