The Central Veterinary Laboratory(LCV)of Algete has confirmed the
detection of the High Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) H5N1 virus
in several wild birds that members of the Corps of Rural Agents of the
Generalitat of Catalonia found dead in the Segre River, at the height of
the town of Soses, in the region of Segriá (Lleida).
