Please take note of the Draft Border Management Authority Regulation, 2023 (GAZETTE No. 50608) that is open for comments.
The Minister of Home Affairs intends, in terms of section 36(1), to read with sections 36(3) to (6) of the Border Management Authority Act, 2022 (Act No 2. 2 of 2002), and after consultation with the Commissioner and, where necessary, with the recognised trade unions, to make the regulation in the schedule.
Any person who wishes to submit written comments on the draft Regulations is hereby invited to do so 30 days from date of publication (3 May 2024).
