06 | SOUTH AFRICA’S SAUDI ARABIA VIRTUAL OUTWARD SELLING MISSION:
  AMIE attended the South Africa- Saudi Arabia Virtual Outward Selling Mission on 22 August 2024.
Two key themes were discussed:
• Saudi Arabia meat market opportunities and market access requirements.
• South Africa’s meat export value proposition and industry capabilities.
Presentations made by the Department of Agriculture Land Reform and Rural Development (DALRRD) and the Red Meat Abattoirs Association (RMAA) gave an overview of the Saudi Arabia market, challenges faced by the industry and government and, requirements for the exportation of red meat product.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you are taking part in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The industry must test the system for efficiency, ease of use, and possible bugs that need to be fixed.
